Honest Mary's, Cedar Park
Millwork and casework for Honest Mary's first restaurant outside Austin, in Cedar Park Town Center. Chioco Design did the interior and Citadel Development Services was the general contractor. It opened in July 2023.
What we built
We signed the millwork and casework subcontract with Citadel in February 2023 and worked through the July opening. The scope covered two built-ins with planters, table tops and bases, shelving and the arches. McClain Metalworks made stainless steel drip pans for the planters as our subcontractor.
Chioco revised the arch detail during construction to add a shadow reveal at the overhead shelving and millwork.
Finish
The wood is white oak. The finish spec was Rubio Monocoat with 5% smoke for WD-1 and beeswax for WD-2.
Shop drawings
Along with the usual drawing set, we sent Citadel the shop drawings as an AR model (a USDZ file) that anyone on the job could open on a phone.
