Restaurant and bar millwork in Austin
We build bars, back bars, host stands, banquettes, shelving and wall paneling for restaurants, bars and coffee shops around Austin. Sometimes the hospitality group hires us directly, sometimes its general contractor does. Either way we work from the design team's drawings and finish spec.
Recent restaurant work
Jupiter Supper Club, 718 Congress Avenue. AvroKO designed it and Pravo Construction built it. We did all of the millwork, in partnership with Howdy Built: the bar, host stand, kitchen pass-through, Library Lounge casework, second-floor shelving, coffered ceiling, columns, wainscot, the live music room stage and casework in the 201 lounge. Leather-wrapped panels went into the millwork, and the bar room was built around a custom clock by an outside clockmaker. It opened in October 2024.
Honest Mary's, Cedar Park. Chioco Design did the interior and Citadel Development Services was the general contractor. We built the white oak built-ins with planters, table tops and bases, shelving and arches. It was Honest Mary's first location outside Austin and opened in July 2023.
Serranos Cocina y Cantina, Lakeline. Mark Odom Studio designed the remodel. We built the bar millwork, a feature wall of wooden rolling pins and a tapestry low wall, and installed in January 2024.
Mañana Dos, Seaholm District. For New Waterloo we designed and built the cooler shrouds, guest service station, shelving and storage cabinets. The cabinets are etched with a mural pattern that New Waterloo's creative team drew and we cut from their DXF. It opened in August 2022.
We've also made carved wayfinding signs for Jester King Brewery and the Jester King Inn since 2021.
Finishes
We finish in-house to the designer's spec. Jupiter's painted millwork is Fine Paints of Europe PT-04 over FPE oil primer. Honest Mary's wood finishes were Rubio Monocoat with 5% smoke and beeswax.

Questions
How long does restaurant millwork take?
It depends on scope. For reference, Honest Mary's ran from our subcontract in February 2023 to opening in July 2023. Mañana Dos ran from a February 2022 walkthrough to an August 2022 opening. Jupiter, a much larger package, went from award in November 2023 to opening in October 2024.
Can you include stone and metal?
Yes, through partner shops. At Jupiter, Howdy Built did the metal, and the stone tops from Baroque Countertops were part of our package. At Honest Mary's, McClain Metalworks made stainless drip pans for the planters as our subcontractor.
Do you come back after opening?
Yes. We have handled warranty work at Jupiter since it opened, including a warranty walk in August 2025.
