Jupiter Supper Club
Millwork for a supper club, bar and lounge at 718 Congress Avenue in downtown Austin. AvroKO designed it and Pravo Construction built it. Jupiter opened in October 2024.
What we built
We got the notice of award from Pravo in November 2023 and started millwork that month. Our package covered the bar millwork, the host stand, a kitchen pass-through, casework in the Library Lounge, second-floor shelving, a coffered ceiling, columns, wainscot, the stage in the live music room, and casework in the 201 lounge.
We did all of the millwork on the job, in partnership with Howdy Built. Howdy Built did the metal and Baroque Countertops did the stone. The stone tops were part of our package, and the selections included Belgium Black. The millwork also takes in leather-wrapped panels, and the bar room was built around a custom clock made by an outside clockmaker.
Finish
The painted millwork is Fine Paints of Europe (PT-04) over FPE oil primer. We painted the casework and shelving ourselves and pre-primed the coffered ceiling, columns and wainscot so the site painter could finish them in place.
After opening
We've handled warranty work since Jupiter opened, including a warranty walk with the team in August 2025.
