CNC cutting service in Austin
Send us a DXF and we'll cut it on our CNC routers at 6401 Airport Blvd. We cut parts from customer files as well as for our own millwork.

The machines
We run two CNC routers. One is an Anderson Spectrum 510 with an HSD spindle, FANUC servos and two Becker vacuum pumps holding the sheet down. Both have 5 x 10 ft beds.
Our smallest bit is 1/8 in., so inside corners come out with a 1/16 in. radius. Design inside corners with that in mind.
What we cut
We cut wood and sheet goods (Baltic birch, hardwood plywood, MDF and solid hardwood), plastics (acrylic, HDPE and polycarbonate) and aluminum composite panel. We don't cut steel on the CNC. Our own casework and millwork are cut on these machines too. We've also carved two-color sign board for Jester King's wayfinding signs and cut 1 in. corrugated cardboard for The North Face's installation at SFMOMA.
More than flat parts
For the G.W. Carver Museum we machined 480 slices of Baltic birch one by one and built them into a wall that weighs over 2,000 lb. Stacked together, the slices form waves and three sculpted heads in relief.
Some jobs are simpler. New Waterloo's creative team sent us a DXF of a mural pattern for Mañana Dos, and we etched it into the shop's storage cabinets.
What to send us
